In partnership with its client, Cpl Healthcare is currently seeking Staff Nurses for a permanent Night roles based in South West Wicklow.
The Client:
A small but friendly 12 bedded unit within a religious order on the Wicklow/Carlow border, have a plan to double their bed size in the next year. This facility caters for patients 70 years + who are suffering from Alzheimer's, dementia and post-strokes, as well as some post-op patients who have returned from overseas to recuperate after major illnesses.
Job Responsibilities:
Hands-on Nursing care of patients, completion of relevant documentation, liaising with patients' families and GPs, amongst others.
Job Requirements:
· General Nursing qualification
· Minimum 1 years post registration experience in the area of geriatrics and dementia care
· Full An Bord Altranais registration - www.aba.ie
· Own transport as home is not anywhere near public transport lines
· Respect for the ethos of the religious order
· Proven clinical competence in the care of the older adult
· Fluent English and permission to work in Ireland a must.
Salaries dependent on experience. Working hours will be nights only, and on a rostered basis.
