Trainee Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities: Trainee Maintenance Manager

• Responsible to the Engineering Manager for achieving continuous improvement in reliability of equipment and condition of the facility, consistent with specified food safety, quality and customer standards

• You will be responsible for the effective management of a small team of maintenance technicians. You will manage and develop team member's competence and performance so that they contribute effectively to achievement of team goals.

• You will contribute to establishment of and implement Standard Operating Procedures

• You will introduce and maintain best practice in accordance with Lean Manufacturing techniques.

• Safety: you will develop and ensure compliance to the site safety procedures and programs. You will be familiar with and maintain all required safety protocols and standards on daily basis.

• Cost Management: You will operate within budget and contribute effectively to our continuous cost reduction program.


Requirements: Trainee Maintenance Manager



  • Degree in an Engineering Disipline.


  • You will have a competent knowledge of electricial, mechancial , hydraulic and pneumatic devices and control systems.


  • You will have the ability to install and maintain replacement components in electrical and mechanical systems.


  • You will demonstrate meticulous attention to details and have the ability to resolve complex mechancial / electricial issues associated with equipment and process by weighing up all the facts and figures before proposing solutions.
