Grad Ireland Summer Fair

Here, you’ll have a chance to meet with top employers, postgraduate providers, seminar speakers and career advisors. National Hairdressing Apprenticeship Exposition
WHEN: Tuesday, 24th May 2022
WHERE: The Kingsley Hotel, Co. Cork
WHY YOU SHOULD GO: The lockdowns and resulting DIY haircuts of recent years have hammered home the importance of good hairdressers! One group that’s long been aware of hairdressers’ value is the Cork Education and Training Board. Through the Cork College of FET Douglas Street and Mallow, they provide a fully funded Level 6 apprenticeship programme, providing salons across the city and county with an on-the-job hairdressing mentor, a local learner community and a €2,000 annual training grant. Ballina Business Showcase

WHY YOU SHOULD GO: This event, hosted by Ballina Chamber, will see a return of regional networking that was greatly missed during the pandemic. Businesses attending on the day will be looking to meet with local jobseekers and secure plenty of new recruits. Offaly Jobs Fair

WHY YOU SHOULD GO: Over 50 local businesses from a wide variety of sectors will be exhibiting at this event in Offaly, which marks the first ever jobs fair to be held for the county. Tullamore Chamber of Commerce, who are organising the event, say hundreds of positions will be up for grabs on the day, so come along prepared!
