The Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (ACEI) – established in 1938 - is a voluntary, self regulatory professional body representing the business and professional interests of firms and individuals engaged in Consulting Engineering, primarily in the built environment sector. As the voice of the Irish Consulting Engineering profession, the ACEI assists in resolving important issues for engineering consultants and clients, contributing to public policy through involvement in relevant committees, working groups, Government fora, and the development of model conditions of engagement.
