Accountant - Part Time

My client, a reputable company in Cork, is looking to recruit an Accountant on a part time basis. The role reports directly to the MD and can be worked on a fully remote or hybrid basis.

THE ROLE:

* All areas of accounts preparation group companies to trial balance / management accounts review stage
* Preparation of annual files for external auditors and dealing with queries
* Preparation of all VAT tax returns
* Payroll calculations
* Assisting Director on special assignments 

REQUIREMENTS:

* Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA 
* 2 Years Accounts Preparation and direct Taxation 
* Experience working with Xero an advantage 
* The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
