Assigned Certifier

Assigned Certifier required for construction engineering consultancy client based in Dublin.

Ideal role for a Chartered Engineer who is looking to move into a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will have the skills necessary to determine and define each project's scope of work and deliverables.
• As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing tenders, supervising tendering procedures, preparing proposals, and managing, supervising, and visiting contractors on-site.
• You will have demonstrable creative and logical thinking experience to resolve design issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline.

• Have excellent working knowledge of the building regulations, on-site inspections, construction detailing, the building control process and project management.

• 7-10 years of experience in engineering in construction, preferably consultancy.

• Comfortable reading and understanding drawings.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.

• Demonstrated knowledge of construction & engineering principles.

• Chartership is desirable.

• Strong leadership, management & Communication skills.
