Audit & Accounts Senior

A new permanent position has just come available, for an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to provide some support to the Partner on a permanent basis.   

The company is an employer of choice based in Co. Meath with an impressive database of clients, they have been operating for over 30 years. The company offers a wide range of services including audit, non-audit, sole trader and industry sector clients. The company is in a good commuting distance for individuals living in Meath, North Dublin & Louth.  

This role operates on a hybrid model with the option of working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home per week.  

Please see below the responsibilities and some requirements in order to be successful in this process.

THE ROLE:

* Operational supervision of assignments with a specific focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction combined with targeted operational deliverables

* Management of the firm's relationship with clients including service delivery and co-ordination of service offerings from other departments

* Involvement in training of student trainees

* Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.

* Preparation and Completion of audit/audit exempt financial statements

*Preparation of tax returns – primarily Corporation Tax/IXBRL for review

 * Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections

* Dealing with miscellaneous inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue etc and also Revenue audits

* Preparation of Working Papers (paperless) & Financial Statements in accordance with

* Relevant Procedures and Standards

* Investigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal

* Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe

* Carry out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient manner

* Achieve fee targets for assigned portfolio

* Prepare technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients

REQUIREMENTS:

* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA OR ACA)

* You will be currently working as a Senior in a Practice environment

* You will have a strong background in audit from a medium or large practice

*  You must have your own transport and a full clean driver’s licence in order to attend client visits

* You will have experience in operational supervision of assignments and managing client relationships

* You will have a proficiency in Accounting Packages – Sage Line 50 is an advantage

* Tax experience is an advantage
