Business Development Manager required for Environmental client based in Clare.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the management and further development of existing accounts as well as the development of new business opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop and expand current client relationships
- Identify and develop new client relationships
- Network within the industry to develop potential prospects and opportunities
- Coordinate administrative requirements for clients to ensure all information is up to date.
- Participate in company strategy planning, department budgeting, and revenue target development
- Manage business development operations to meet revenue targets and KPI’s
- Perform presentations to prospective clients describing company’s services
- Prepare and submit proposal documents
- Identify, develop and manage teaming relationships with key partners and subcontractors
- Attend site visits and pre-proposal conferences as necessary in the pursuit of business opportunities
- Work on-site at project locations as needed in support of the field services teams
- Develop, maintain, and implement marketing tools such as LinkedIn, MailChimp and brochures,
Requirements:
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience
- 2+ years of environmental industry experience
- Strong knowledge of the environmental and industrial services industry
- Outstanding client management skills
- Proven history of delivering strong growth and/or sales results
- Existing environmental industry client contacts a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, Internet)
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
