Controls & Automation Engineer

A Controls & Automation Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our Dublin based Client – an award-winning technology company developing very high precision electro/ mechanical optical assemblies. Role is reporting into the company’s Hardware Controls Manager.

ROLE:

* Instrumentation integration.

* Bench testing components.

* System documentation.

* Experimental design and set-up.

* System construction and testing.

* System debugging and troubleshooting.

* Light data analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors Degree in relevant Engineering discipline  - minimum

* 1+ years’ experience in the role of controls engineer, automation engineer, systems engineer or related disciplines.

* Experience wiring and testing instrumentation.

* Strong problem-solving abilities.

* Hands-on experience with complex systems.

Desirable:

* PLCs.

* Motion Control.

* Microcontroller experience.

* LabVIEW.

* Solidworks Electrical.
