Demand Planner

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a Demand Planner for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Cork. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, addressing issues as they arise, and collaborating closely with Corporate and Regional Supply Chain teams. This position is crucial for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of supply management, contributing significantly to the company's overall success. The role offers a hybrid work environment, combining office-based and remote work.

THE ROLE:
* Optimizing inventory levels to minimize working capital levels while maintaining customer service levels
* Managing new product introductions
* Addressing and resolving any supply issues. Improve systems by working with internal and external parties
* Responsible for the management of a high quality vendor base to support Operations
* Manages vendor performance through metrics
* Managing compliance with Transport and Customs Regulations
* Supporting supply chain security strategy to counteract counterfeiting
* Leading monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) review


REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have Demand Planning experience
* Three years plus experience in related and progressively responsible experience in supply chain environment (Manufacturing or Global Supply Chain).
* Degree qualified in Supply Chain, business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar.
