A new role has recently come available for a junior Accounts Payable Clerk with a key client of mine based in Cork City Centre.
This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to secure a role after finishing college.
This is a fully on site role, located in Cork City Centre.
Responsibilities:
* Dealing with a high volume of monthly premium payments to insurance companies.
* Liaising with Client Executives & insurance companies to resolve account queries.
* Processing & issuing refund cheques.
* Daily control of bank lodgements.
* Insurer ledger reconciliation.
* Sending lapsed papers to insurance companies.
* Scanning statements and insurance payments on a monthly basis.
* Reconciling daily lodgements and lodging monies to bank (twice a week).
Requirements:
* Recent graduate in Accounting, Business , Finance or similar
* Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
* Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadline.
