Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our clients team a leading mechanical engineering firm specializing in support the multinational sector including Irish based firms  e.g., industrial systems, manufacturing solutions, mechanical design,problem solving and innovation.

THE ROLE:
*Assist in the development, design, and optimization of mechanical processes and systems.
* Perform process simulations, calculations, and analysis to support engineering designs (Example pumps).
* Support project teams in the preparation of technical documentation including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Conduct process troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to optimize system performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production, and quality departments, to deliver project milestones.
* Participate in site visits, commissioning, and validation activities as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Approximately 2 years’ experience in a process engineering role, preferably within a mechanical or industrial engineering environment.
* Proficient in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
* Strong understanding of mechanical processes, systems integration, and engineering fundamentals.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
