CareerWise Recruitment is recruiting a Production Manager (Downstream), Associate Director Level for our Pharma client.

As the Production Manager - Downstream, you will lead and manage Downstream Operations at the Cork site, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant processing. Your role includes overseeing purification, formulation, and packaging while driving operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and a high-performance team culture.

THE ROLE:

  • This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, champions continuous improvement, and is committed to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree (Level 9) or equivalent in a relevant field (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of downstream processing, cGMP, and operational excellence.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
