R&D Engineer

REARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for a fulltime on-site role on an initial 12 month contract.

The R&D ENGINEER will support the design, development, analysis, troubleshooting and provide technical skills during research and/or product development, reporting to the R&D Engineering Manager. There are multiple roles at various levels with relevant experience required.

THE ROLE:

* Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.

* Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise.

* May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials.

* Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors Degree (Level 8) in a relevant Science Engineering or other technical discipline.

* Experience in a similar role in the medical device industry.

You must have a Stamp 4 visa as a minimum requirement for this position.
