Senior Design Assurance Engineer

A SENIOR DESIGN ASSURANCE ENGINEER required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for an initial 12-month contract, hybrid role.

The SENIOR DESIGN ASSURANCE ENGINEER will serve as an extended team member on a PDP Project representing the Design Assurance function and will report dotted line to the quality lead on the project.

THE ROLE:

* Lead strategies for test method validations, design verification and shelf life protocols / reports.

* Be responsible for keeping abreast of industry best practice with respect to product design.

* Maintain expert, up to date knowledge of developments in regulatory compliance requirements for product design, development, transfer and commercialisation activities.

* Will be required to provide Quality input into new product development, process improvements and change control.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors Degree (Level 8) in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline.

* 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.

* Experienced to a competent level within Medical Device product design.
