Supply Chain Specialist

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a talented Supply Chain Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Cork on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a competitive salary and a hybrid work schedule (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing daily operations, proactively resolving issues, and working closely with Corporate and Regional Supply Chain teams. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring efficient and high-quality supply management, making a meaningful impact on the company's success.

THE ROLE:
* Optimizing inventory levels to minimize working capital levels while maintaining customer service levels
* Managing new product introductions
* Addressing and resolving any supply issues. Improve systems by working with internal and external parties
* Responsible for the management of a high quality vendor base to support Operations
* Manages vendor performance through metrics
* Managing compliance with Transport and Customs Regulations
* Supporting supply chain security strategy to counteract counterfeiting
* Leading monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) review


REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have Demand Planning experience
* Two years plus experience in related and progressively responsible experience in supply chain environment (Manufacturing or Global Supply Chain).
* Degree qualified in Supply Chain, business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar.
