Engineering Maintenance Administrator - Limerick
Kenny-Whelan are hiring an Engineering Maintenance Administrator for one of its Global Life Science Companies in Limerick.
Profile of the Role:
Responsible for coordinating Vendors and Statutory Inspections, Management of the Statutory Inspection Register and Administration of Service Requests within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Responsible for ensuring the efficient management and administration of the Maintenance Operations.
Description of Duties:
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of service requests.
• Track the progress of service requests and update the relevant stakeholders accordingly.
• Receive, log, and prioritize service requests from various departments.
• Maintain and update the statutory inspection register to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Schedule and arrange statutory inspections.
• Document and report on inspection outcomes, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
• Communicate and coordinate with external vendors to facilitate maintenance activities and procure necessary resources.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service agreements.
• Assist Planners/Schedulers in the level loading of preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure even distribution of workload.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners/schedulers and technicians to optimize PM (preventative maintenance) schedules.
• Provide backup support to the CMMS Engineer as needed.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and system maintenance within the CMMS.
• Drive CMMS compliance improvement.
• Utilization of CMMS functionality to drive business process optimization
• Supporting LEAN initiative roll outs within maintenance as required.
Experience and Requirements:
2-3 years working in biotech engineering, operations, or manufacturing with experience in Planning, Scheduling and CMMS. Knowledge of GMP’S and regulatory requirements.
• Intermediate PC/IT skills and E-Systems competency.
• Any further education in an engineering related discipline is an advantage.
• Experience of working in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is an advantage.
IT Systems:
• Ms Office Suite advanced
• Very strong E-Systems experience
• CMMS experience or similar essential
From time to time, there may be a need to travel offsite to other locations in Ireland
