A leading US-based technology company is establishing a new operation in Ireland and is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its local engineering services division. This is a high-impact leadership role, ideal for someone ready to build and scale a team delivering advanced Automation, MES, and Digital solutions for Life Sciences clients.

You’ll play a key role in building out the new Irish office, leading delivery, growing the team, and shaping the company’s presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an Ireland-based engineering division
• Deliver Automation and MES services for Life Sciences clients
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including office setup and team growth
• Support technical delivery in the early phase, shifting to full-time management as the team scales
• Collaborate closely with US-based leadership and global teams
• Mentor, coach, and manage engineers across delivery and development
• Represent the business with clients, ensuring technical excellence and service success

Your Background

• 8+ years’ experience in engineering services for Life Sciences or related industries
• Strong background in Automation and/or MES (e.g., DeltaV, Syncade, Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing technical projects
• Understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and data integrity standards
• Experience working with client-facing teams and managing suppliers
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up style environment with hands-on responsibilities
• Based in Ireland or open to relocation
