Equipment & Process Technician

On behalf of our heavy Manufacturing Client in Co Limerick, we are currently hiring a Equipment and Process Technician to join their Team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within the organisation. You will be working within a multi-discipline team who are responsible for providing a high-quality operational, maintenance and technical support service in assisting the management of a production business unit.

Key tasks within the team include:

·      Agree priority ranking and care plan for each piece of equipment

·      Ensure the operational tasks identified in the care plans are scoped, scheduled and correctly implemented

·      Setting out and driving routine operations work schedules

·      Ensure equipment which causes production, operations, or energy loss is assessed and then modify maintenance routines as appropriate

·      Ensure that equipment is released to the agreed maintenance schedule

·      Troubleshoot basic production equipment faults

·      Other incidental duties

Experience of maintenance or process operation, coupled with an external academic qualification would be a distinct advantage. You must have strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as an analytical, decisive approach.

You will receive significant training as part of your integration to this role.
