Financial Accountant Limerick

Financial Account 

Our Client is a growing US Multinational based in Castletroy Limerick, as part of their continued success they are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. 

The Job :

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Finance department. This will cover all operational areas of Finance including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Month-End and Year-End close, Banking, Intercompany, Corporate Reporting, Local Management reporting, Statutory Accounts and Audit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Month-End close, Year-End close and Audit Support

• Oversee the day to day Finance activities e.g. Accounts Payable, Employee Expenses

• Oversee Intercompany Process with Corporate and other Affiliates 

• Maintain the General Ledger(s) and their Integrity

• Support the preparation of the Management Accounts

• Support the preparation of the Budgetary Reports

• Support and oversee the day-to-day Treasury requirements

• Support and oversee the different Corporate Credit Card programs and reconciliation of same

Skills/Experience that we need:

• 3rd level degree qualified.
• Fully qualified accountant.
• 2-3 years industry experience ideally gained in a multinational type of environment.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems (eg SAP, JDE, Oracle) would be an advantage.
• Proven ability to work on your own initiative & manage projects.

The Offer:

This job is being offered on a 6 months contract & salary is depending on candidate qualifications & career experience but expected to range to approx. 55-65k. 

This role will be a hybrid mix of 2-3 days in office in Castletroy Limerick with the balance working from home/remote.

Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit to live & work in Ireland will not be considered.
