Job Purpose: Reporting to the General Manager, the Logistics Manager will have sole responsibility for running the site and overseeing onsite logistics operations. This hands-on role will drive productivity, efficiency, and compliance while fostering a culture of motivation and engagement within the logistics team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to enhance supply chain business processes. Additionally, the company has secured a significant brand in Ireland, and the management of this client is of paramount importance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the onsite logistics and warehousing team to ensure effective and compliant haulage operations.

· Coordinate outgoing deliveries accurately to customer sites and distribution centers, ensuring compliance with domestic and international deadlines.

· Act as the escalation point for haulage-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

· Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and continuous development initiatives.

· Collaborate with corporate supply chain and customer service teams to meet customer requirements efficiently.

· Supervise carriers and freight operators, driving performance improvements and fostering strong working relationships.

· Coach and develop the logistics team to implement best practices and achieve continuous improvements.

· Ensure all team members are adequately trained, maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records.

· Partner with site management and supply chain stakeholders to develop and implement an optimized future warehouse and haulage model.

· Monitor and update relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) via local and corporate dashboards.

Qualifications/Experience:

· Proficiency in excel, with 3+ years of expertise in haulage operations.

· A third-level qualification in Supervision/Management or a minimum of 5 years in a relevant logistics leadership role.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.

· Strong systems aptitude and computer literacy.

· Proactive with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels and across different cultural backgrounds.

· Strong knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
