Microbiology Analyst – Cashel, Tipperary | Onsite | Flexible Hours

Are you an experienced Microbiology Analyst looking for your next opportunity? This onsite role in Cashel, Co. Tipperary offers the chance to work in a GMP microbiology laboratory, leading key microbiological testing and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Environmental Monitoring Program and conduct risk assessments.
• Validate equipment and microbiological test methods.
• Perform Growth Promotion Testing and Culture Management.
• Conduct Microbial Limit Testing (TAMC, TYMC, Absence of Specific Organisms).
• Support the Compressed Air Program and Site Water Strategy.
• Prepare and review lab procedures, specifications, and reports.
• Develop and execute protocols for microbiological testing.
• Participate in investigations, change controls, and audits (HPRA/FDA).
• Manage lab consumables, equipment, temperature monitoring, and waste disposal.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Microbiology, Biological Science, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a GMP Microbiology Lab.
• Strong knowledge of compendial method verifications.
• Understanding of Environmental Monitoring and Contamination Control Strategy (Annex 1).
• Familiarity with FDA/EMEA regulations.
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Job Details:

• Location: Cashel, Co. Tipperary (onsite role).
• Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 – 16:30.
• Flexible core hours: 10:00 – 15:30 (Flexibility required during busy periods).
