Part Qualified Accountant

Our client, an established market leading Healthcare & Pharmacy supplies company, based in Limerick city, which has grown internationally by design innovation in consumer healthcare & pharmacy products, are now looking for an experienced Part Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the ideal candidature will support with the preparation of management accounts, audit requirements, process improvement and other ad hoc tasks and projects.

Duties to include:

GL account reconciliation

AR/AP processing and management

Bank account management and reconciliation

Accrual preparation

Pre-payment preparation

Journal entry

Management accounts

Tax compliance and return preparation, incl. Intrastats/VIES

Year end audit

Grant preparation

Financial analysis and commentary

Ad hoc financial reporting

Potential projects with other functional areas of the business

Skills & Experience that we need:

• Part-qualified in accountancy (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Ideally 1-2 years’ experience, preferably in practice or industry
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Knowledge of SAP B1 a distinct advantage
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Enthusiastic attitude and an ability to work to deadlines

The Offer:

This position is a permanent role with salary depending on the candidates’ skills & experience but expected base salary of €38K -€42K per annum, with some scope for higher for an exceptional candidate.

This fully onsite role based in Limerick offers a clear route to professional development opportunities, with educational support, while working in a great team environment.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4.30pm
