Projects Manager (Opex & Capex)

On Behalf of our Client based in Shannon, we are currently sourcing a Projects Manager to join their Team. The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver successful outcomes in a diverse portfolio of capital improvement projects and operational projects. The job holder will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining a centralised data room for storing and accessing key engineering drawings, surveys and other technical documentation.

Key areas of Responsibility:

• Plan and manage Opex and selected Capex projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, operational efficiency and passenger experience
• Coordinate project scope, budgeting, scheduling and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Establish and maintain a centralised digital data room to store and manage key engineering documentation such as drawings, surveys, reports and project records
• Implement systems and processes for efficient data retrieval and ensure compliance with data security
• Adhering to public procurement guidelines, ensuring compliance and competitive procedures are followed.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits and inspections

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

The Candidate should have:

• A recognized qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related field to bachelor’s degree level
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a team leadership or managerial role
• Knowledge of aviation and airport environment would be an advantage
• Must have experience of project management
• Skilled user of engineering software, project management tools (AutoCAD etc), MS Office and BIM System
• Excellent leadership and communication and organizational skills
• Possess a high level of drive and energy and the ability to make things happen.
