Sales and Business Development Manager
Our client, based in Nenagh Co. Tipperary, a leading supplier of water treatment components who operate within the domestic, industrial, and commercial sectors, are seeking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Sales and Business Development Manager to join their team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales and Business Development Manager will to be a trusted advisor to customers and will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term profitable relationships.
Other responsibility to include:
· Developing new business and proactive development of sales pipeline
· Sales strategy development & execution working individually and with existing sales teams
· Identifying new opportunities in both existing and complementary sectors
· Support bid process including application, fulfilment, demos, and pricing
· Strategic Account management
· Business development with existing customers, identifying upsell opportunities
· Customer relationship management
· Uncovering and consistently sharing industry and sector intel with Management and existing sales teams, to further inform business and product strategy
· Active engagement with product management function to inform problem or opportunity-oriented roadmap. Through account management and new business responsibilities document and provide input internally on customer trends and demands
· Author marketing material such as white papers sharing trends and subject matter expertise to further develop the company’s position in the market.
Skills & Experience that we need:
· 5+ years of sales and business development experience in similar industry, providing direct support to customers during and post-implementation.
· Ability to translate technical and business requirements and adjust communication approach depending on audience.
· Strong technical and product background
· Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with the customer leading to a deep understanding of their products and long-term business strategies
· Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to support the delivery and implementation while enhancing the customer experience across all touch points
· Experience showcasing products and services as a strategic fit for customers through sales presentation development and delivery, conferences, and networking events
· Ability to work individually and within a small team
· Ability to capture and identify integrated opportunities with end-to-end solution delivery requirements
· Available to travel to visit clients and attend conferences.
The Offer:
This is a permanent position with salary expected to be in the €50K range, with expected OTE of €70K plus per annum, depending on the candidate’s experience, with excellent benefits package, hybrid work schedule and career development opportunities.
