Sales Executive

Our client, one of Ireland’s leading tile and bathroom retail groups, are seeking a customer-focused and ambitious Sales Executive to join the dynamic team at their Limerick showroom.

The Role

As Senior Sales Executive you will grow, develop, and drive sales within the branch in Limerick with responsibilities to include:

·      Build relationships with an existing customer base

·      Focus & drive the supply of tile & sanitary Ware to multi dwelling, housing sites, one off new build houses and refurbishments in the Limerick and Shannon/Midwest region

·      Proactively develop new business relationships with plumbers, tilers, interior designers, building contractors & architects

·      To meet sales and margin targets as set by company directors and branch manager

·      Negotiate prices with customers whilst meeting agreed sales and margin targets 

·      Producing quotations as and when required, while following up with the showroom sales team on Client appointments.

·      Follow up on quotations - quotes won/lost and reasons why 

·      Maintain and build customer relationships creating long lasting relationships with regular customers

·      Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations 

Skills & Experience that we need:

·      Previous recent experience in customer facing sales (minimum 5 years) within the commercial construction sector and or retail showroom experience

·      Proven ability to forge ongoing relationships with trades people thus turning them into regular customers 

·      Proven history on achieving targets and delivering results

·      Excellent communication and people skills

·      Excellent IT skills

·      Focused and goal orientated

·      Self-motivated with good follow up with established and potential customer

·      Previous sales experience within the tiling and plumbing or related sector

·      Experience using Intact IQ ERP System

·      Proven history in winning sales orders.

·      Full clean valid driver’s license

The Offer:

This is a permanent fully onsite role, based in Limerick,  to include some weekend work, with salary range depending on the candidates experience but is expected to be in the range of €30K - €35K per annum plus OTE potential.
