  • Work closely with software, mechanical, and system engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Develop firmware for embedded systems using I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and other industry standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations using FMEA tools.
  • Support technical design reviews, prototyping, and system testing.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to two Junior Engineers.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design (analog design is essential).
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Strong expertise in microprocessor-based design, power management, and EMC testing.
  • Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout tools, and LabVIEW.
  • Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC converters, cable harnesses, and sensor interfaces.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solving technical challenges with a hands-on approach.

Why Join?

  • Very competitive salary with an API bonus scheme.
  • Work with a leading company driving healthcare innovation.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, pension, and 24 days holiday.
  • Opportunity to lead a team and drive technical excellence.
  • Visa sponsorship available for candidates already in Ireland; overseas candidates considered (potential sign-on bonus, but no relocation package).
