We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled and experienced Director of Services to lead our service management teams in Health Area, Dublin & South East which includes, Dublin South/Wicklow/ Kilkenny/South Tipperary/Carlow/Waterford and Wexford.

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary Scale: 7-point scale ranging from €80,173 to €98,254 per annum.

Annual Leave Entitlement: 37 days per annum (including any fixed leave entitlement)

Overview of the Post:

The purpose of the post of Director of Services is to provide leadership and management support in the development and delivery of a range of services underpinned by the core values and stated goals of Enable Ireland’s service strategy.

Overview of Duties & Responsibilities:

As a member of the national management team, the key duties of the post include overall responsibility in the following areas:

· Strategic & Organisational Development

· Operational Management

· Resource Management, Financial Planning & Fundraising Support

· Staff Line Management & People Development

· Quality & Safety Compliance

· Facilities Management & Supporting Capital Development

The successful candidate will have

· Significant management experience at senior level, with responsibility for service provision, staff, and operational budgets of comparable complexity.

· A working knowledge of delivery of disability services, HSE Service Arrangements, and HIQA regulations together with an understanding of Irish public sector funding in the voluntary disability sector.

· Core competencies to include decisive leadership, strategic vision, financial and commercial acumen, sound judgement, organizational skills, excellent communication skills, relationship building skills and results orientation skills.

· A commitment to the mission, vision and values of Enable Ireland is essential.
