Business Analyst – County Cavan
The Role & Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in County Cavan. This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to play a key part in driving business performance by supporting the delivery of key initiatives, system improvements, and process efficiencies across various functions.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can bring a structured approach to gathering and analysing data, identifying trends, and implementing practical business solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, supply chain, and IT to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Include:
Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
Support the implementation and roll-out of new systems, tools, and processes across departments.
Create detailed reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Participate in cross-functional project teams to deliver improvement initiatives.
Provide analytical support for performance tracking and KPIs.
Assist in the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies.
Monitor and evaluate project outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure all documentation and processes comply with company standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a similar Business Analyst role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms such as Excel, Power BI, or similar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working across multiple business functions and with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Previous experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
