EHS Advisor - Cork

EHS Advisor | Cork | Main M&E Contractor 

€55k-€75k (DOE)

As an EHS advisor, you will play a pivotal role in our project implementation and delivery processes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to safely deliver the completion of projects. Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining the company’s Safety Management System and CMS System. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager
• Ensure that site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements
• Implement and maintain company’s Safety Management System
• Undertake site inspections / audits and report findings to the project EHS Manager
• Review sub-contractors Methos Statements / Risk Assessments and assist where required
• Submit weekly reports
• Carry out daily site walks and report findings to project supervisors immediately

Key Requirements:

• Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification essential. 
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role is essential (Experience within the Irish Construction/M&E sector is essential)
• Experience working in the Construction Sector desired
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office required
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
