Our client seeks a dedicated Environmental Officer to join the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, energy, and sustainability management systems that achieve international certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and maintenance of environmental, energy, and sustainability management systems.
• Ensure compliance with the site’s Industrial Emissions License and all relevant environmental regulations.
• Maintain ISO14001 certification and manage the site’s Environmental Management System.
• Oversee the site’s waste management plan and evaluate new processes for environmental impact.
• Deliver internal environmental training (Induction, Toolbox Talks).
• Prepare and report on environmental and energy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure all emissions and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) operations comply with license requirements.
• Coordinate sustainability strategies with the EHS/Sustainability Manager.

Qualifications & Skills requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
• Experience with IED licensing requirements.
• Ideally a background in a manufacturing-related industry.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
