Independent Business Team Lead – Co. Limerick

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Independent Business Team Lead to play a key role in driving business growth while maintaining a strong focus on customer service. This role requires an individual who is results-driven, self-motivated, and eager to develop their knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and provide daily support to the Independent Business Sales Leadership and Commercial Finance functions, ensuring high-quality commercial support and customer service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyse information needs and provide functional insights.
  • Develop expertise in pricing and margin management systems and processes, maintaining best practices through standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
  • Foster a positive and high-performance work environment, acting as a role model for the team.
  • Regularly assess and analyse commercial trends to drive business performance and identify profit-enhancing opportunities.
  • Implement and oversee pricing controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of pricing structures.
  • Streamline and automate operational processes, working closely with Business Technology teams to drive efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, supporting collaboration and business success.
  • Facilitate and lead team meetings, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues.
  • Manage HR time management approvals and maintain accurate records for payroll and leave tracking.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong competency in MS Excel and database systems; experience with ERP systems is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong commercial mindset.
  • High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage both personal and team workloads effectively.
  • Resilient and determined to drive projects to completion.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive approach to change.
