Maintenance Fitter - County Offaly.
The principal responsibility of this role will be to provide maintenance tool support to the production stream to maximise production efficiencies and minimise equipment downtime, while focussing on preventative techniques in all departments.
Main Responsibilities:
• ·Manage a variable tool workload to meet/exceed key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, productivity, and downtime.
• ·Take a proactive role in problem identification, analysis, and resolution to production problems.
• ·Responsible for overall equipment performance (OEE) in each department and act as an advocate for continuous improvement activities using lean manufacturing tools to achieve targets and cost savings.
• ·Develop and improve planned maintenance regimes.
• ·Support supervisors on technical issues and put in place permanent and effective technical / system solutions to problems that arise.
• ·May be required to lead project teams in the development, verification, validation and submission of new processes.
• ·Ensures process is capable and determine calibration requirements and effective preventive maintenance requirements for tooling and test equipment.
• ·Resolve quality and technical issues such that impact on product supply to customers is minimised
• ·Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are fulfilled.
• ·Maintain knowledge of new developments in maintenance practices and procedures to ensure that there is continuous improvement in maintenance standards.
• ·Completes all engineering documentation related to assigned projects.
