Mechanical Design Engineer | Dublin 

€55-70k (DOE) ++

Main Irish Contractor is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a variety of projects in Dublin. Located at the Head Office in Dublin, and may require some travel to sites across Leinster/Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specification of mechanical engineering solutions for buildings, to current regulations and design standards
• Working with the MEP team and project design team to define project requirements and develop technical solutions
• Pre-construction engineering activities including coordination of services and production of information (tender drawings, specifications and equipment details)
• Assisting M&E staff in all work relating to the safe and timely completion of projects
• Working with the team to Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of the approved quality plan

Key Requirements:

• Third-level Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Experience in designing and specifying mechanical / building services systems
• Strong technical ability and good understanding of current engineering standards 
• Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally projects experience preferable
• Excellent IT skills – knowledge of Revit/BIM, Microsoft
