Medical Device Sales Specialist - East & West Ire

We are in search of a Medical Device Sales Specialist for a B2B sales role that involves traveling across the East to West regions of Ireland. The main office is in Dublin, but candidates can reside anywhere within the East to West area, excluding the Midlands/border and southern regions.

Position: Sales Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet the sales targets set for your designated area.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture connections with key accounts and target customers.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up with developments and trends in your territory, and report competitor activities to the Business Unit Manager.
  • Maximize Sales Profitability: Drive sales to achieve the highest possible profitability and margins, in line with set targets.
  • Identify Sales Opportunities: Discover and capitalize on new sales opportunities with both existing and potential customers.
  • Monitor Customer Accounts: Ensure that the full sales potential of customer accounts within the territory is realized.
  • Provide Support and Education: Offer educational support to key customers and medical personnel regarding our Ambulatory market portfolio.
  • Promote Company Products: Represent the company and its products at trade shows, meetings, and work visits.
  • Implement Retention Strategies: Apply attraction, development, and retention strategies with key and target accounts.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in hospital sales with at least 2 years of experience in the sector.
  • Education: Degree-level qualification and strong business acumen.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent listening, presentation, and communication abilities.
  • Time Management: Effective time management, administrative skills, and strong written communication.
  • Driving Licence: Full, clean driving licence.
  • Eligibility: Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside normal office hours if required.
