Production Controller - County Meath.
As Production Controller you will be responsible for detailed scheduling of each production shift to ensure all weekly production targets are met. Also, part of the job is data validation and analysis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Activity scheduling as set out in the weekly plan supported by short term scheduler.
• Prepare work orders
• Conduct shift start-up meetings with shift supervisors
• Monitor and control production in real time, adjust plans if required
• Activity reporting and data analysis
Interested applicants should have:
• Minimum 3rd level education combined with relevant industry experience, or
• Graduate Engineer in heavy industry, mining or production systems
• Previous experience with production scheduling in heavy industry an advantage
• Must have good analytical skills, good organisational skills, a high learning capacity, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Good communication skills with strong verbal, written and computer skills.
• Flexible approach to work
• Strong interpersonal skills – an ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrates a willingness to drive new opportunities and continuous improvements
This is a staff position with shift work, on a roster covering 24 hours a day Monday to Sunday
There may be some international travel required as part of this role.
