Project Manager | Dublin | Academic Building
€85-€100k (DOE) + Package
As Project Manager overseeing an Academic Building project would be responsible for leading the project from inception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This project is due to start in April 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Initiation | Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership | Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Stakeholder Management | Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other stakeholders. Maintain positive relationships through strong interpersonal skills, collegiality, and teamwork.
- Budget and Cost Control | Monitor project expenditures, manage budgets, and ensure financial objectives are met. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Schedule Management | Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Proactively address potential delays and implement corrective actions as needed
- Quality Assurance | Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with relevant building codes and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, preferably with a focus on student accommodation or similar multi-unit residential projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Familiarity with construction methods, building codes, and regulations specific to student accommodation facilities.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision. Creative thinker with the ability to develop new and unique ways to support existing structure
