Shift Manager (evenings) – Co. Wexford.

General Purpose

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling production processes. The goal is to ensure that goods are sorted, produced, and packed efficiently, on time, within budget, and in line with required standards, all while maintaining a safe and motivated work environment. Additionally, the role involves analyzing and improving processes to enhance quality, productivity, and overall efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both human and material resources and will provide support to shift leaders, team leaders, and general operative staff. The role requires someone who is innovative, quick-thinking, and able to effectively solve problems.

Knowledge and Skills

Candidates should possess the following knowledge and skills:

• Production management expertise
• Familiarity with technical aspects of production processes
• Experience with managing high-level HR responsibilities
• Strong delegation skills
• A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation, policies, and procedures
• Strong management and leadership capabilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly spreadsheets and word processing programs
• Analytical and reporting abilities
• Excellent English language proficiency
• Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of experience in a management role with a sizeable team in a production environment
• A third-level qualification in a related field (desirable)
• A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
