Site Manager (Civils) | Leinster

A leading Irish Construction Company with a broad spectrum of projects across commercial, residential, life sciences, and civil engineering, is seeking a Civil Site Manager to join their team on a public realm project in Lucan Dublin.

The role will focus largely on streetscapes and residential site development.

Permanent or contract is available for this role which is available immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with and report to Project Manager and Senior Management on Civils projects
• Take responsibility for managing day to day activities on-site throughout the project lifecycle, leading the Project Team to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget
• Check and understand all drawings and specification. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practise
• Management of subcontractors on site
• Responsible for completion and issuing of daily/weekly project reports regarding progress updates on programme and subcontractors
• Liaise with Client/Design Teams as necessary

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years relevant experience and a proven track record for delivering logistically challenging Civils projects.
• Full Irish Driving Licence
• Safe Pass & Manual handling, other certifications beneficial
• Experience in Traffic & Pedestrian Management but not essential
• Good IT skills and computer literacy, proficient in the use of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
• Ability to coordinate a number of varied projects
• Preferably based in the north Leinster / Midlands region
