Fit-out/Office/Commercial Projects

New opening for experienced Site Managers to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor on major Fit-out, Office, and Commercial Projects in Galway.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on-time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site activities from the start of construction through to project completion
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring work aligns with project specifications and timeline
• Conduct regular safety inspections, ensuring all site activities comply with health and safety legislation and company policies
• Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing any issues promptly
• Identify and resolve any issues that may affect project timelines or quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Site Management role, particularly within fit-out, office, or commercial projects
• A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple aspects of the project simultaneously
• Strong understanding of current health and safety legislation, building regulations, and quality standards
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools
