Site Manufacturing Manager - North Dublin.
Our client seeks a dynamic, driven, and passionate Site Manufacturing Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the daily operations of the site, overseeing 450 direct and indirect reports, including 5 Business Area Managers, and 8 finished goods production lines in a 24/7 environment.
• Develop and implement the manufacturing strategy for embracing new technologies, improving processes, and enhancing manufacturing capability, balancing operational efficiency with a commitment to safety and quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Project Teams, and R&D to implement and deliver the strategic and annual operating plans.
• Partner with other functional leaders to ensure effective governance, compliance, and cost management across the plant.
• Drive the site’s performance against key KPI's: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Employee Engagement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by integrating Lean Six Sigma practices and driving a zero-loss mindset across the site.
• Coach and mentor a high-performing, multi-functional team, creating an environment where individuals feel empowered, engaged, and developed.
• Contribute to Employee and Unions relations on site, building effective and progressive relationships and agendas.
• Manage the performance of the manufacturing team, aligning on objectives, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Leverage your expertise in data analysis and process optimisation to identify and drive operational improvements, ensuring a competitive advantage.

• A proven track record in leading manufacturing performance in a fast-moving, high-volume FMCG environment with demonstrated success at both the Front Line and Manufacturing Manager level.
• People Leadership: Exceptional people management and coaching abilities, with experience managing diverse teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and engagement. Experience working in a unionised environment is a plus.
• Continuous Improvement Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, and other operational excellence tools. You will be passionate about driving change and developing teams to adopt best practices for operational optimisation.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with a passion for problem-solving and decision-making grounded in data. Able to interpret complex data and using insights to drive improvements and efficiencies.
• Business Acumen: A strong understanding of manufacturing cost management, financial planning, and project management, with the ability to drive performance while managing costs.
• Communication and Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels (including Union relationships and relationships inside and outside or Ireland) and managing relationships across functions, including Demand and Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Category, and Sales.
