Technical Trainer: Moulding - County Waterford.

Position Summary:
In this role you will develop technical training content and technical training plans for technicians.
Develop and implement procedures and competency-based assessments in order to measure the effectiveness of training.
Consult with key stakeholders to identify training, learning and development needs for employees and drive recommendations on training solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Develop and/or customise training materials targeted at specific trainee groups.
• Deliver on the job training to technicians, across all shifts as required
• Maintain technical competence/cross-train as required.
• Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate training and related learning support programs.
• Drive and apply the use of Lean Six Sigma tools in daily role.
• Develop & deliver induction material as part of onboarding of new moulding technical employees
• Maintain training records databases, training requirements and other matrices and accurate and up to date training records.
• Track and prepare reports and follow through on all required training to ensure compliance and cross-training targets are achieved.
• Prepare and present safety technical training programs and support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.
• Ensure compliance with all learnings from all GMP training events.
• Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.

Interested applicants should have:
• At least 5 years' injection moulding experience highly desirable
• Level 7/8 in Engineering or a Trades Qualification highly desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge essential.
• Manufacturing experience essential. Healthcare experience and knowledge of cGMP standards and related training requirements highly desirable.

• Results orientated with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and audit ready at all times
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
• Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors, and customers, in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.
• Advanced Microsoft applications user
