The Irish Times Group is recruiting for the position of Content Studio Journalist. Working under the direction of the Group Content Studio Editor, the successful candidate will edit and publish articles and other types of content across our group platforms, irishexaminer.com, irishtimes.com, breakingnews.ie, recruitireland.com.
The role involves working with the commercial teams on various projects, advertising features and special reports, providing editing and commissioning support to Group Content Studio editors. Based in Cork, this role requires a high degree of flexibility, adaptability and an ability to produce first-class work in an accurate, timely and efficient manner to digital and print deadlines. The successful candidate will have strong editing and writing skills with experience across print and digital platforms.
Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems is essential. Applicants will be asked to demonstrate a high degree of personal initiative, excellent judgement and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
