National Programme Manager, Age Friendly Ireland SSO

Meath County Council is the authority responsible for Local Government in County Meath with its corporate headquarters located at Buvinda House, Navan. 

The Council hosts the national Age Friendly Ireland Shared Service Office (AFISSO) on behalf of the local government sector.

The Council is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for inclusion on a panel for the position of National Programme Manager of the Age Friendly Ireland Shared Service Office.

Meath County Council wishes to recruit a National Programme Manager for the Age Friendly Ireland Shared Service Office (analogous to Senior Executive Officer) to continue the development of the national shared service office and the support services that it provides to the local Age Friendly Programmes across the country.

The National Programme Manager will report directly to the Chief Officer of AFISSO and is expected to fulfil relevant management responsibilities for the team based framework of 31 local Age Friendly Programmes, deputise for the Chief Officer when required, supporting the outward facing institutional relationships of Age Friendly Ireland, as well as, providing strategic direction for the national shared service office in consultation with the Chief Officer
