Regional Enterprise Plan Programme Manager

Meath County Council is the authority responsible for Local Government in County Meath with its corporate headquarters located at Buvinda House, Navan.

The Council, with the agreement of Kildare County Council and Wicklow County Council, will host the Regional Enterprise Plan (REP) Programme Manager for the Mid-East Region.

A Service Level Agreement between Enterprise Ireland and the local authorities provides the framework for the operational development and delivery of the Regional Enterprise Plans and agreed actions. The delivery of these actions is to be coordinated and driven by the REP Programme Managers in each region.

An opportunity now exists in Meath County Council for the position of Regional Enterprise Plan Programme Manager (Mid-East Region). This position is analogous to Senior Executive Officer.

The role will involve assisting with the development, establishment and servicing of appropriate structures to support the sub-committees and developing specific actions and targets to facilitate the enterprise and economic development, branding and promotion of the Region.

The REP Programme Manager will be expected to engage at senior level with relevant stakeholders including, among others, DETE, Local Authorities, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, HEIs, ETBs, tourism agencies, industry leaders, Chambers of Commerce and the broader business community in the implementation of the Regional Enterprise Plan. The REP Programme Manager will work closely with the Regional Skills Forum Manager to ensure an integrated approach to skills development supporting job creation in the region.
