Job Description
We are excited to invite applications for the position of Associate Director, Operational Excellence & Project Management Office at our Dublin Biotech site. In this role, you will report to the Site Supply Chain Lead and play a key role in heading initiatives that promote continuous improvement and strategic transformation within our organization.
Key Leadership Skills
- Coaching and Development: Mentor and develop team members while fostering Operational Excellence and Project Management skills across the site.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with the Supply Chain Leadership Team and engage with various leadership groups within our biologics manufacturing network.
- Strategic Planning: Support cross-site and network strategies to achieve business goals.
- Ownership and Accountability: Enhance business structures using tools like Key Performance Indicators and dashboards.
- Change Catalyst: Drive progress and change through project management and Operational Excellence principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Transformation Portfolio Management: Oversee the site’s transformation projects, ensuring effective planning and execution of cross-functional objectives.
- Operational Excellence Management Development: Implement management systems and processes on the shop floor, integrating Operational Excellence principles into the site culture and collaborating with global teams.
- Business Reporting Ownership: Manage reporting metrics and communicate the site’s vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Head risk management efforts, collaborating with functional leaders to address and mitigate business risks.
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or another regulated industry.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing production systems, project management, operational excellence, and lean methodologies.
- A growth mindset with strong coaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and diverse teams.
