We are excited to invite applications for the position of Associate Director, Project Management at our Dunboyne facility. In this role, you will lead the Project Controls scheduling function, ensuring smooth operational integration of capital projects and new product introductions. You will collaborate with various internal departments, external stakeholders, and senior management.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Collaborate with project and capital leads to clarify key milestones and integrate them into the overall plan
  • Align the Operations New Product Finite Schedule with capital activities to identify potential risks and overlaps
  • Create a playbook for New Product Introduction, outlining critical path components for each affected department, including:
  • Operations: Operator competency development and check sheet activities
  • Supply Chain: Process lock for critical paths and planning for Bill of Materials development
  • Establish a governance structure for communication with sponsors and stakeholders, covering:
  • Level 1 Integrated Plan
  • Risks to the critical path
  • Issue escalation processes for individual projects

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of project management experience on medium to large-scale projects in engineering, construction, and start-up activities for manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience as a production scheduler in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in project planning and scheduling within a multi-user Primavera P6 environment.
  • Knowledge of design, construction, commissioning, qualification, and start-up planning in manufacturing.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate risks and coordinate solutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various levels of management and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Project Management Software (P6 and Pertmaster), Power BI, and Excel.
  • A proven track record in developing and managing project schedules for complex facilities, including manufacturing plants and laboratories.
  • Experience in controlling project schedules, driving progress, and developing mitigation plans for multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ability to provide "what if" scenarios and conduct risk modeling.
  • Experience in developing Earned Value Progress Monitoring and Reporting Systems is a plus.
