Your Core Responsibilities 

  • As a Quality Assurance Director, you will lead, inspire and mentor the QA team accountable for end-to-end Quality oversight of all GMP operations at our Carlow site. This role ensures a safe, compliant, and reliable supply to our patients. 
  • Foster and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with functional leads across the site, facilitating a cohesive working environment. 
  • Implement Lean principles to streamline quality processes and work practices, ensuring they are effective, efficient and compliant. 
  • Collaboratively drive a culture of safety and compliance at our Carlow site, reinforcing our commitment to our company's values. 
  • Facilitate professional growth within your team by providing appropriate resources and programs to enhance technical and other skills necessary for their roles. 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to manufacturing and support functions to ensure manufacturing and release activities align with applicable procedures, Global Policies and Guidelines, regulatory requirements, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). 
  • Be open to performing other assigned duties as necessary, showcasing your flexibility and commitment to the role. 

Who You Are 

You are ready if you have: 

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Science-related discipline. 
  • You have experience as a senior professional with a track record of people leadership in an Aseptic GMP manufacturing setting. 
  • You demonstrate progressive people leadership skills. 
  • You lead with vigor and enthusiasm, have an operational excellence mindset and contribute to our organization's overall ability to thrive and grow. 
  • You have exemplary communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, enabling you to interface seamlessly with all levels of colleagues and with external customers in a team-oriented manner. 
  • You possess extensive knowledge of regulatory/code requirements to Irish, European and International Codes, Standards and Practices. 
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills. 
  • You have proven ability to effectively manage complex projects across multiple disciplines. 
  • Strategic thinking with a 'One Team' mindset.
