A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Lead for our site in Biotech Dublin. The warehouse lead will manage a team of individuals in support of receiving, sampling, dispensing, material supply and shipping of drug substance at the Biotech warehouse and dispensing facility. In addition, this individual will work with business partners in maintenance, engineering, site safety and quality assurance to ensure compliance and efficiency in the day-to-day flow of goods.
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a team of individuals that support receiving, material supply, sampling, dispensing and ensures re-allocation of resources as needed across these activities.
- Ensure cGMP compliance adherence, audit/inspection preparation and be responsible for management of SOPs, deviations & CAPAs at the Biotech Warehouse and dispensing facility.
- Guide, direct, and conduct continuous improvement in the warehouse and dispensary operation while also defining material flows and updating of equipment requirements where necessary.
- Manage and enhance KPIs related to supply chain management and warehouse to achieve team targets.
- Ensures training for staff is maintained and is relevant. As necessary, conducts or directs training activity for the team, including but not limited to: SOPs, skill qualifications, safety, quality, and other related communications.
- Take responsibility for performance management, people/talents development and team building initiatives.
- Notifies and escalates issues needing resolution in a timely fashion.
- Collaborates effectively in a various cross functional workstreams to ensure operational support and adapting working models, as necessary.
- SAP SME for the department, ensuring effective material flows throughout the business and troubleshooting and issues that arise on a day-to-day basis.
- Back up for the logistics trade & compliance lead.
- As necessary, manage OpEx purchase orders related to the warehouse & logistics org.

- Demonstrated knowledge in more than one pharmaceutical and/or chemical manufacturing operation (e.g. Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, etc.) and an understanding of regulations regarding the handling of hazardous materials.
- Demonstrated leadership and change management skills with a continuous improvement focus.
- Good knowledge of computerized production and inventory control systems (SAP) and documentation practices.
Minimum Education/Experience:
- Degree qualification preferred (Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or science-related discipline).
- Knowledge of and experience in applying Six Sigma methodologies.
- 4 years in a functional area such as Operations, Management, Quality, Technical Operations, Technology, Engineering, Maintenance, and/or Supply Chain.
