Engineer Grade II (Mechanical) in the Office of Public Works
The Office of Public Works (OPW) is the lead agency in coordinating flood risk management policy and the flood relief capital programme in Ireland.
OPW currently has a vacancy for an Engineer Grade II (Mechanical) in its’ Mechanical Engineering Field Services Division (Newtown, Trim, Co. Meath) to support the flood risk management programme.
Reporting to an Engineer Grade I, the successful candidate will be involved in Fleet Management for OPW’s fleet of vehicles, plant and machinery, as well as assisting in the construction of capital flood relief schemes.
This is an exciting opportunity for Mechanical Engineers to join an organisation dedicated to supporting staff to realise their full potential and providing access to professional development opportunities and career progression.
A panel will be formed from this competition to fill future vacancies which may arise in OPW’s Regional Offices in Galway, Limerick and Meath.
